The Godwin Lawson Foundation is a registered charity working to prevent serious youth violence and knife crime and create safer futures for young people
We work with young people, families, schools, communities and strategic partners to tackle the factors that can lead to violence. Through early intervention, education, mentoring and trusted relationships, we help young people make positive choices, access opportunities and move away from violence.
Our approach brings communities and organisations together to listen, intervene earlier and create lasting change.

03. In Memory of Godwin Lawson
The Godwin Lawson Foundation (GLF) was born from tragedy in 2012, when Yvonne and Calvin Lawson transformed their grief into a powerful force for good. Their son, Godwin, heroically tried to protect friends from a knife attack and lost his life. GLF stands as a testament to his bravery, committed to preventing such tragedies.
